One Hour and Two Hour Fire Rated Record Safes
Fireproof record safes are available with a UL Class 350 1-hour and 2-hour fire rating. 
Fireproof Record Safes are available with UL-rated Group II combination locks with over 1,000,000 combinations or optional digital combination lock. Fireproof record safes protects documents from external temperatures over 1700 degrees. The UL Class 350 fire ratings mean that the internal temperature of the safe will not exceed 350 degrees when exposed to external temperatures of over 1700 degrees. Fireproof file cabinets are impact rated at drops of 30 feet. Fireproof record safes and fireproof file cabinets UL impact test calls for the safe to be heated to 1550 degrees for 30 minutes (1638 degrees for 45 minutes for a 2-hour fire-rated safe) then dropped onto concrete rubble from a height of 30 feet. Then it is inverted and reheated for another 30 minutes (45 minutes for a 2-hour fire-rated safe). The fireproof file cabinet must maintain its integrity throughout the test and protect all contents.

Computer media is so easily damaged, manufacturers recommend computer media to not be exposed to temperatures over 125 degrees or humidity over 85%.
