Industrial Tool, Die, & Mold Storage

vertical lift shuttles tools dies memphis jackson oxford tupelo germantown dyersburg southavenWhere are your industrial dies and molds stored? If you're storing them on the floor or otherwise improperly, you could have a problem. Improper die and mold storage could lead to your materials being damaged in the process, not to mention the safety risks they post to employees who may need to bend and lift to access heavy dies. Vertical lift shuttles provide an efficient, secure, and ergonomic solution for industrial tool, die, and mold storage in Memphis, Jackson, Oxford, Tupelo, Germantown, Dyersburg, Southaven, and throughout the state of Tennessee. Click here to watch a video about how the vertical lift shuttles work.

Vertical Lift Shuttles for Tool, Die, Mold Storage

The vertical lift shuttles are a unique industrial storage application that eliminates walk and search time by delivering stored materials directly to the operator at just the push of a button. Now instead of storing them in static racking that workers have to walk through, you can bring your tool, die, and mold storage close to the point of use (for example: you could install the shuttle next to your tooling or stamping machine). Since the system is enclosed, it also provides dust protection and damage.

This automated goods-to-person method also drastically improves ergonomics. Heavy materials are delivered at a waist-high adjustable work counter, and the shuttles can be integrated with cranes and forklifts to prevent the need for bending or lifting motions that can cause injury. Each shuttle tray can hold up to 2,000 pounds, allowing them to store heavy dies and molds or even small tools arranged in bins. In addition, the elimination of static aisles and the shuttles' ability to automatically store trays in the least amount of space required can save you up to 85% of your storage space.

Picking software is also integrated into the shuttles to provide management and tracking of your industrial tool, die, and mold storage. The software offers all basic functions of warehouse management software and can be integrated with your existing WMS or ERP or installed as a standalone option. The software performs inventory management and provides inventory reports in real time and prevents stock-outs, overstocks, and lost/misplaced items.
