Every SSG Horticulture grow container shares the same finished 40' steel shell, filtration, power, lighting, and safety foundation. The configurations differ in their climate package and plumbing: a Standard base buildout, a Veg/Prop unit tuned for early-stage rooms, and a Flower unit with a heavier climate package for flowering loads, plus multi-container builds for scale.
40' Standard Grow Container
The Standard container is the base 40' buildout for indoor horticulture, pilot cultivation rooms, crop testing, and facility expansion. It pairs the finished shell, climate package, filtration, power, lighting, and safety foundation with simplified single fill and drain plumbing, ready to run as a contained cultivation room.
40' Veg/Propagation Grow Container
The Veg/Prop container is configured for vegetative growth, cloning, propagation, and nursery workflows. It keeps the same finished shell and climate foundation as the Standard unit but adds a second set of fill and drain plumbing connections to support the higher irrigation activity of early-stage rooms.
40' Flower Grow Container
The Flower container is configured for flowering applications and specialty crop facilities. It steps the climate package up to two outdoor HVAC units, two indoor cassettes, and two dehumidifiers, giving flowering rooms the tighter temperature and humidity management that heavier canopy and transpiration loads demand.
Multi-Container & Turnkey Deployments
Because each unit is a self-contained room, the footprint is not permanent. Operators can start with one container, combine Standard, Veg/Prop, and Flower units into a full grow-to-harvest workflow, and add or relocate containers as the license footprint or the production plan changes. SSG coordinates site prep, placement, and utility integration.
How the Standard, Veg/Prop, and Flower containers differ.
All three share the same finished 40' shell, filtration, electrical distribution, lighting, and safety foundation. The differences come down to the climate package and the plumbing, which is what determines the growth stage each unit is built to run.

Factory-built 40' steel construction
Each unit is a factory-built 40-foot steel container with epoxied floors, studded and finished insulated walls, a man door, overhead lighting, and an exit sign with battery backup, assembled and tested before it ships on roughly an 8-week production lead time.
Three climate-matched configurations
Standard, Veg/Prop, and Flower units share the same shell and step the HVAC, dehumidification, and plumbing up to the growth stage. Racking, benches, dry racks, site prep, utility hookups, permits, and freight are quoted separately.

A grow container is not an empty box. The climate, airflow, filtration, power, plumbing, and lighting are installed and tested at the factory inside a finished, insulated steel shell, so the unit arrives as a working cultivation room rather than a project to finish on site.
Integrated HVAC, Dehu & Airflow
The climate package is sized to the configuration and built in, so the room holds temperature, humidity, and airflow as soon as it is powered and connected.

Electrical, Plumbing & Lighting
Power distribution, water connections, lighting, and life-safety are factory-installed so the unit ties into site utilities with minimal field work.

Most of these systems ship inside the unit, but they still have to meet the site. SSG helps confirm HVAC, dehumidification, airflow, lighting, CO2, power, irrigation, and drainage against the crop plan and the utilities so the container holds its targets the day it is connected.

What is not included?+
Racking, benches, dry racks, site prep, crane placement, utility hookups, permits, exterior signage, and freight are handled separately during the quote process so they can be scoped to the crop plan and the site.
How are temperature and humidity controlled?+
Built-in HVAC controls temperature while the dehumidifiers manage moisture, and the insulated steel envelope makes those setpoints much easier to hold. The Flower configuration carries double the HVAC and dehumidification capacity because flowering canopy adds the heaviest heat and moisture load.
How long does it take to get a grow container?+
Production runs about 8 weeks after the order is placed, and shipping time varies by location. Once the unit is delivered to a prepared site, it is set, connected to utilities, and ready to grow far faster than new construction.
