The security doors are designed to roll up into an overhead compartment above the file shelving, unlike traditional hinged doors that swing out into access aisles. What this means to you is if boxes get stacked in front of the doors you don’t have to move them to access your stored files. The doors come up to 12’ wide to provide easy access to a large number of files without numerous doors to open. The security doors are controlled by a touchpad located on the side of the shelving unit or a remote control device. To access the stored files, simply key in your security code to the keypad, and the doors open or close. Controlling access to files is easy because a specific code can be set so that only authorized personnel can get into the filing system.
