Additionally, the library carts would have to be able to integrate with their pre-existing static shelving.
The library carts are basically configurable cantilever shelving units on casters, making them perfect for flexible and movable book storage without sacrificing functionality. The units are 49″ tall, the same height as the library’s static shelving, so it integrates well with the existing storage. The low-profile design provides a sturdy structure, and custom end panels were regionally sourced to integrate with the library’s interior design. A wide variety of sizes are available depending on your individual needs.
The carts can easily be reconfigured to accept roll-out browsing boxes, small shelves for items like DVDs and media, and other interchangeable storage and display products. The library was also able to achieve significant cost savings by purchasing the library carts through a state contract.
