Features for steel spill resistant & maple benchtops & standard & optional unit components
All steel, spill-resistant, and maple benchtops provide a sturdy surface that occupants can use to work from. Any will support up to 200 pounds per square foot with even distribution stretching over the entire top. Features specific to each include:
Steel Top: Made from heavy 12-gauge steel that measures 1-3/4″ high with no holes on the work surface. It will not crack, splinter, gouge, or absorb oil. Available in 48″W x 30″D, 60″W x 30″D, and 72″W x 30″D.
Shop Top: Constructed using 1-3/4″ thick high-density particleboard that is 30% harder than maple. These tops offer superior screw holding characteristics and are nonconductive. Its top and bottom layers are sealed to resist conventional spills. Available in 48″W x 30″D, 60″W x 30″D, 72″W x 30″D, and 72″W x 36″D.
Maple Hardwood Top: Constructed with 1-3/4″ thick kiln-dried hardwood and face-glued to provide a highly durable, attractive and long-lasting work surface. Available in 48″W x 30″D, 60″W x 30″D, 72″W x 30″D, and 72″W x 36″D
Adjustable Legs (standard): Allow 6″ of adjustability that ranges from 28″ to 34″.
Stringer (standard): Provides lateral stability for the bench while acting as a stop for optional lower shelf.
Optional Components:
Drawer: Measures 18″ wide x 24″ deep x 6″ high. It installs under the benchtop work surface and includes a padlock lug for locking security.
Back & End Rim Stops: Provides 3″ high steel rim/barrier to keep items from falling off the work surface. Side rim stops have rounded front edges.
Shelf Riser: 12″ high x 10″ deep metal shelf above the work surface.
Lower Shelf: Full width 11-3/16″ deep shelf supports 150-pound capacity.
Casters: 4″ Swivel casters with brakes provide safe mobility.
