Driver Access Cages
Truck driver secure access wire panel cages prevent unauthorized access and ensure visitors are protected in the shipping and receiving dock area. Not securing your facility entrance leaves you open to the risk of theft, injury, or other liability from visitors entering an active machinery work cell, fork truck traffic, or other dangerous area. The modular panels can also be configured in any size. Click here to learn more about wire partitions.
Wire Panel Cages Provide Security & Safety
Not restricting access to your building leaves you liable for accidents and theft. Driver access cages not only prevent theft, but also protect visitors from being injured by material handling equipment or machinery and prevents them from wandering out on the work floor looking for assistance. Instead, the cages provide a secure and safe area for them to wait until a trained employee can assist them.
The wire panel cages are a simple but effective way to control access and protect delivery personnel and truck drivers to distribution centers, factory floors, or other building levels by confining them to a defined area. A service window with a shelf is provided so drivers can easily sign and pick up paperwork or other materials without having to enter the building.

The cages are typically constructed with three sides that connect to a wall or door. Made from heavy-duty 10 gauge wire and 2" x 1" woven rectangular mesh, the panels are strong enough for any industrial storage requirements. Cage sizes can vary from 6' x 6' and up to 8' x 8', and because panels are available in one-foot increments, almost any size cage can be configured to meet your needs.
Access cages are also provided with a pedestrian hinged door, which can be equipped with a full width push bar to allow employees to exit through the driver cage. The inside of the cage remains locked, which keeps visitors from entering through the access door.
Steel benches 4', 6', or 8' wide can also be provided within the cage. A ceiling panel made of the same 10 gauge heavy-duty wire can also be added for additional security if needed.
