OSHA Industrial Safety Guardrails
Protective machine and forklift guardrails serve as industrial railing safety barriers to keep people and equipment safe. According to the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), safety precautions must be taken in order to prevent damage to equipment and pedestrian injury from falls or forklift accidents. Forklift guardrail safety barriers are an ideal way to provide both of these protections in one solution. Buy forklift guardrails online.
Protect Pedestrians & Machinery
There are eight standard guardrail lengths available from 3' up to 10' to be installed around machinery, conveyors, vertical drops, walkways, and other hazards in warehouse environments. With 11 gauge formed steel rails, the guardrails are designed and tested to withstand the impact of a 10,000 pound load moving at four miles per hour. Surfaces and corners are smooth, preventing punctures, lacerations, or snagged clothing.
For protecting machinery and equipment, 17" high single rails are ideal solutions, while 43" high double rails are available for protecting workers and work areas.
Installing the guardrails is easy. Components are bolted together, and the column base plates are anchored to the floor. If you need to add to, move, or reconfigure the rails, this can be done easily and without professional installers. When installed, the rails measure on even-foot increments to make measuring and planning easy. All necessary hardware is included with your order.
Optional lift-out sections that allow quick and easy access to machinery as well as custom rail sizes, offset base plates, and corner offset columns are available as needed. 45" angled rails are also available, which can be used for protection even around corners. All rails are powder coated safety yellow in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
