Vertical reciprocating conveyors (VRCs) and freight elevator lifts integrate with your new or existing mezzanine systems. Types of VRCs for Mezzanines
Vertical reciprocating conveyors and mezzanines are available in multiple configurations depending on your needs and storage application, including pallet lifts, 2-post, 4-post, cantilever, and dual mast as well as custom units. See below for more information on the different types of VRC systems.
Pallet freight lifts are built with a unique modular design that makes installation and configuration easy. Many applications install this lift due to its ease of use and are usually installed in three sections. The pallet lifts are also available with a factory prewired option to save time during installation.
2-post vertical material lifts are a popular solution for a wide variety of applications due to their flexibility and adaptation to mezzanines, balconies, multi-story applications, or any type of vertical system with a load capacity of up to 8,000 lbs. They are often used with high volume automated systems for transporting palletized loads.
The 4-post VRCs are commonly used for heavy-duty and bulky loads. These systems can be configured with virtually unlimited height, weight, and platform sizes. Materials can be loaded and unloaded from the same side or from front to rear depending on its configuration.
Cantilever VRCs are ideal for when you have limited overhead space because it only requires 6’8″ above the upper level (without security enclosures; 7’2″ with security enclosures). It has a weight capacity of up to 6,000 lbs. and can be loaded or unloaded from any of the three open sides. Dual mast VRCs are also great for height-restricted applications that also need to handle heavy-duty loads.
