Over-Dock Pallet Storage Racks
Cluttered and loose pallets in warehouses are not only unsightly but also pose a significant safety risk and can negatively impact productivity. They also take up a lot of space, and that's no good when the price of real estate is at a premium. Suspended over-dock pallet loading deck storage racks provide a solution by storing empty pallets overhead instead of on your floor where they take up space. Read on to learn more about over-dock pallet racks for all types of warehouses and industrial facilities in Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, Everett, Yakima, Renton, Olympia, and throughout the state of Washington.
Suspended Loading Deck Pallet Racks
Single-leg, wall-mounted racks are designed with an upright frame and offset leg with a back column support over the door. These systems are ideally suited for use with poured concrete walls or walls with exposed columns. Heavy-duty wall ties secure the frame in place with varying beam lengths. This design is anchored to the floor, allowing it to remove the front post where most potential damage occurs. The single-leg over-dock pallet racks are typically used for empty pallets or light loads.
Ceiling-supported loading deck racks are ideal for any wall type with its structural crossbars that are field welded or bolted to roof trusses or girders. Since this system does not have lower legs, there is no interference with forklifts or other traffic.
