Temporary use lockers for college students, employees, and other staff are keyless storage solutions that provide secure storage without the time and resources required for manual management of lockers and keys. Instead of having an individual lock and locker assigned to each person, users are able to utilize the lockers when they need it without sacrificing convenience or security. Keyless Locker Storage
The temporary use lockers come with keyless digital locks. When not in use, the lockers remain open. The temporary use locker procedure uses the following steps:
- Users select an empty locker to store their items in
- When the locker is closed, the user enters a four-digit PIN code
- The locker automatically locks again
- When the user needs to retrieve their items, they punch in the same PIN as before
- The locker opens and the code is automatically reset so it is available to the next user
This not only means that you won’t have to waste time on manually managing every locker, but it also eliminates the need to track every single key and lock, making missing keys a non-issue. If you already have keyed lockers and want to switch to a keyless storage system, there are some digital locks that will retrofit onto your existing lockers so you don’t have to buy entirely new ones.
