Why should I use modular buildings?

Modular construction will end up being more cost-effective for you in the long run. Once the walls have been assembled, any panel section can be removed, replaced, or changed to a door or window at any time. If you ever relocate, the modular buildings can relocate with you easily. The modular buildings also install cleaner and faster with less mess and downtime than conventional construction. Additionally, modular construction also qualifies for accelerated depreciation through IRS §179.

What are the standard sizes?

Walls are priced by the linear foot and the deck and ceiling by the square foot, so there are no standard sizes. Multiples of 4 (12x12, 12x16, etc.) are generally best for flexibility.

What type of applications are modular office buildings used for?

The warehouse in-plant modular office buildings can be used in a wide variety of different applications for distributing, warehousing, and industrial applications, just to name a few. Some common applications include auto dealer services offices, break rooms, clean rooms, CMM rooms, conference rooms, equipment enclosures, control rooms, guard shacks/booths, in-plant offices, secure storage rooms, server rooms, ticket booths, two-story offices, laser enclosures, and much more.

What type of panel options are available?

Modular office buildings are available in steel and aluminum. Aluminum is primarily used in environmental rooms and outdoor booths, while steel systems provide durability for heavy-duty applications. Indoor and outdoor booths are also available, which ship pre-assembled and pre-wired and forklift into place for immediate use.

Can anything be stored on the roof?

Integral load bearing roofs up to 125 PSF are available for both 1-3/4" and 3" systems. The buildings also easily integrate with mezzanines.

How does the electrical and HVAC work?

Switch, duplex, and air conditioner outlets are provided in accordance with the standard layout. Lighting fixtures are 2' x 4' troffer lay-ins with 160 watt bulbs and acrylic lenses. A circuit breaker panel with breakers is sized to meet the building's requirements. Wiring or conduit are generally provided by others unless modular wiring is needed. Low-voltage outlets for computers, telephones, and intercoms are also available.

For most applications, self-contained HVAC wall units plug into adjacent dedicated outlets. For larger projects, extra plenum space for central air duct work can also be provided.two story inplant offices modular office building construction warehouses distribution facilities

Are there sound control options?

Yes. A wide variety of panels for noise and environmental control and added durability are available depending on your needs.

Is flooring provided?

A finished floor is not integral to the structure of the modular buildings, but many floor options are available and can be installed at any time. Two-story structures generally use vinyl tile as the standard finished flooring for the upper level, but carpet can also be installed.

What color choices are available?

Vinyl-covered panels come in beige, gray, or white. Painted steel or gypsum can be painted any color. Steel wall systems are painted to match the panels, and aluminum wall systems are all satin anodized.

Do I need to pull permits?

Different jurisdictions have different requirements with regard to code compliance and enforcement. If a permit is required, stamped engineered drawings can be provided.inside in-plant modular office for warehouses industrial facilities

What is the lead time?

Approval drawings are sent after a purchase order is received, which generally takes a few days. After the drawings are approved, the lead time is typically 3-5 weeks.

How to the walls ship?

A knocked-down project is packed around the size of the panels, so an 8 foot wall room would arrive in an enclosed trailer on 4x8 skids and a 9 foot tall on 4x9 skids, etc. A fork truck with 3,000 lbs capacity and extended forks is required. Factory-assembled booths ship pre-assembled on a steel base with fork pockets so they can be forklifted into place. All products ship CLASS 70.
