What is Antimicrobial Agion and How is It Applied?

Agion is a silver impregnated compound in paint that is used as an antimicrobial finish to prevent the spread of bacteria and germs. Before the development of antibiotics, silver was used in drugs to keep wounds from getting infected. Today, there are many strains of bacteria (like MRSA) that are resistant to antibiotics, so we’re back to using silver to help prevent against bacterial growth.
