Hospital Engineering Department’s Problem Storing Broken Bedsrevit bim models

Any time more than 6 to 8 beds were in the 22' by 32' room for repairing hospital beds, it got extremely cramped. Beds couldn’t be placed in the halls because of hallway code violations. And moving the broken beds around the repair room was difficult and time consuming. In fact, the area was so cramped that one person was injured while lying on the floor trying to repair a broken bed. Click here to watch videos showing how the vertical stacking automatic lifts work.

The facility operations manager tried numerous different ways to store the beds, and came to the conclusion that stacking them would be the best because it would free up floor space. That’s when he found the Hospital Bed Stacker.

How the Hospital Bed Stackers Transformed the Facility Engineering Department's Bed Storage

Five Hospital Bed Stackers were used with the exact features to fit the hospital’s requirements. The stacking units will store 15 beds neatly (3 high and 5 across) in the same room where there was barely enough fit 6 beds. The bed stackers are located along the back wall which allows space in the room to be used for engineers to work on beds.
