Southwest Solutions recently completed a project that included eleven lab casework islands with upper glass door cabinets on risers. It was designed so that upper glass door cabinets allow lab supplies and materials from one side of the workstation to the other side of the workstation for maximum usage of space. The casework surfaces were comprised of ultra chemical-resistant and extremely durable Class 1/A fire-rated phenolic resin. Each laboratory work island was equipped with nine power outlets and water and gas fixtures. Roll-out lab casework tables that appear to be counter space created additional workspace. They can be rolled out when needed by researchers and put back when not in use.
