Features of the Powered Mobile Shelving
The powered mobile shelving outfitted with 4-post shelves, hanging garment rails, and rolling security doors was installed in the team’s equipment room. Due to the size of the storage units, a powered operational control was selected for ease of access and movement. Users are able to press a button and enter the aisle immediately and without the normal delay associated with hand crank controls.
The mobile shelving is also equipped with a floor lock, which uses a key controlled tumbler lock mechanism mounted near the floor level that interfaces with the systems electric controls. This lock ensures that the shelving is completely secure when it’s not being used.
