Storage of Flammable & Combustible Materials
Flammable and combustible materials are dangerous and can be a serious fire or explosion hazard when not stored properly. On top of that, OSHA has very specific guidelines for storing these materials safely. Flammable and combustible liquids are very common and can include products like fuels, cleaners, adhesives, paints, solvents, waxes, and polishes. It's imperative that workers know how to store and handle these materials. A flammable materials cabinet covers all of your storage needs for safely storing combustible industrial liquids to keep you safe and within OSHA compliance.
Flammable Materials Cabinets Provide OSHA Compliance
The flammable materials cabinet features an all-welded, double-walled design for safely storing combustible and flammable goods. The cabinets are manufactured to comply with the National Fire Protection Association and combustible liquid code number 30, exceeding OSHA requirements for combustible and flammable liquid storage.
Heavy-duty 12 gauge steel exterior walls and 16 gauge steel interior walls with 1 and 1/2 inch spacing provides extra protection in case of fire. A catch pan under the floor of the cabinet contains any spills.
Each side of the cabinet also includes air vents to allow cross ventilation according to OSHA standards. A three-point locking device is included with a hasp built into the handle for use with a padlock.
The cabinet legs are six inches in height and are welded to provide extra stability for lifting and moving a loaded cabinet with a forklift or pallet jack safely.
The flammable materials cabinets are made in the USA and shipped fully assembled for immediate use. Protect your workers, stay within OSHA compliance, reduce fire and explosion risks, and improve productivity by providing an organized storage area for combustible industrial liquids with flammable materials cabinets.
