This Fireproof Record Safe series carries a UL Class 350 1-hour fire rating and a UL-rated Group II combination lock is standard with over 1,000,000 combinations or optional digital combination lock, offering excellent fire protection and basic theft security. Protects Documents For At Least One Hour In Temperatures Over 1700. The UL Class 350 1-hour fire rating means that the internal temperature of the safe will not exceed 350 for at least one hour when exposed to external temperatures of over 1700.

These Fireproof Safes and impact rated safes feature a full UL Class 350 2-hour fire rating with impact. FIREPROOF SAFES FOR PROTECTION AGAINST TEMPERATURES ABOVE 1500 DEGREES AND 30 FOOT DROPS.

Fireproof Safes UL impact test calls for the safe to be heated to 1550 degrees for 30 minutes (1638 degrees for 45 minutes for a 2-hour fire-rated safe) then dropped onto concrete rubble from a height of 30 feet. Then it is inverted and reheated for another 30 minutes (45 minutes for a 2-hour fire-rated safe). The fireproof safe must maintain its integrity throughout the test and protect all contents.
