Improve Surgical Site Infection Control in Your Hospital

tempest surgical device disinfection system for sterilizing instrumentsOur Tempest surgical device disinfection system is designed to provide better surgical site infection (SSI) control for hospitals The Tempest is a reliable way to clean the difficult-to-reach interior lumens of cannulated instruments. And it will reliably remove bioburden from surgical tools prior to sterilization.

The Tempest Surgical Device Disinfection System Versus Manual Hand Cleaning

The Tempest is efficient, automated, reliable, and results focused; whereas manual cleaning is time consuming, error prone, and processed focused. In fact, the Tempest surgical device disinfection system surpasses the AAMI benchmarks for “clean” by over 400% and tests conducted by Nelson Labs show that the Tempest produced a 6 log reduction. This means that bacteria levels were 1,000,000 lower following the washing in the Tempest.
