Spacesaver ActiveStor Lateral File Cabinets
Our team used its many years of storage design experience to develop ActiveStor Lateral Files with a multitude of user benefits (View Office Filing & Storage Solutions Image Gallery). Heavy-gauge lateral file drawer bodies are notched to accept legal, letter and metric size hanging file folders. Heavy-duty ball bearing suspensions feature bumpers to prevent cabinet's file drawer "bounce-back." An optional file cabinet divider system allows users to configure storage drawer interiors for small media, stationery and miscellaneous items.

An extremely durable patented lock and interlock system, a 1-1/2" modular cabinet height and a box frame welded upright assembly all add to the function, durability and modularity of ActiveStor Lateral Files.
- All surfaces are chemically etched to assure permanent bonding of the two stage polyester paint. The baked-on finish is scratch and stain resistant.
- All lateral files meet or exceed BIFMA requirements.

Spacesaver Lateral Filing Cabinets Safe and Secure
Spacesaver's patented interlock ensures user safety by preventing more than one drawer from opening at a time. The interlock restages automatically to prevent damage to the filing cabinet. A unique individual file cabinet lock option provides security for multiple users of the same file cabinet. A security pan prevents access from the file drawer above. Lock bars and tamper-resistant lock hooks are located on both sides of the file cabinet.
